1) The first step
Send me a message using the form below. We will then arrange a time to chat by phone about your child's specific needs.
2) Book a first online session (free)
It is so important for us to all meet via Zoom and decide together if we are a good fit. We are all in this together going forward, so this is an opportunity for us to see how well we can work as a team.
3) Payment is in blocks of 4 sessions
We will set a regular weekly time for tutoring via Zoom, and payment is in advance for blocks of 4 sessions (with flexibility for illness, holidays, etc.)
4) Tutoring sessions
Each session is one hour long on Zoom. Even though I'm not physically at your house, we still develop the much needed trust and understanding that is essential for tutoring to work.
5) Extra work
From time to time, your child may need to do extra work between sessions to consolidate what we have been working on. This "homework" will need to be completed prior to the following session. It may be digital work via the IXL platform, or on-paper work to be printed and submitted via screenshot.
